Behind every brim, ribbon, and veil at Starlust Hats is the hand and vision of Issis Starlust —a designer, art historian, and lifelong admirer of beauty lost in time.

With a background in Art History and Cultural Management, Issis combines her academic knowledge with a deeply personal aesthetic rooted in romanticism, vintage elegance, and the gothic imaginary. Her work is a love letter to eras gone by, to queer identities, and to the transformative power of fashion.

Each hat, bonnet or headdress is carefully handcrafted by Issis in her studio in Spain, using sustainable techniques, locally sourced materials, and vintage trimmings that give every piece its own soul and story.

Issis is passionate about creating fashion that is both ethically conscious and emotionally resonant—a safe space for self-expression beyond gender, normativity, and fleeting trends.

Creamos sombreros, bonnets y tocados únicos para almas románticas, soñadoras y alternativas—para quienes ven la moda como una forma de contar su historia.

Nuestras piezas están inspiradas en la elegancia vintage, la moda EGL (Elegant Gothic Lolita), las siluetas históricas y el encanto oscuro del estilo gótico y romántico. Detrás de cada ala, lazo y velo de Starlust Hats está la mano y la mirada de Issis Starlust —diseñadora, historiadora del arte y eterna enamorada de la belleza perdida en el tiempo.

Con formación en Historia del Arte y Gestión Cultural, Issis Starlust une su bagaje académico con una estética íntima, basada en el romanticismo, la elegancia vintage y el imaginario gótico y alternativo. Su obra es una carta de amor a las épocas pasadas, a las identidades disidentes y al poder transformador de la moda.

Cada sombrero, bonete o tocado es confeccionado artesanalmente por ella en su taller en España, con técnicas sostenibles, materiales de proximidad y adorno vintage, haciendo de cada pieza un objeto con alma y memoria.

Issis cree en una moda que sea tanto ética como emocional, que ofrezca un refugio para la autoexpresión más allá del género, la norma o la tendencia.

At Starlust Hats, we proudly ship worldwide from Spain. Whether you’re in Europe, the Americas, Asia or beyond, your handcrafted hat or headpiece can reach you safely and securely.

All shipments include a tracking number for your peace of mind.
Orders are shipped only after payment is received. We do not offer cash on delivery.
Packages are shipped and delivered on business days only.
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination country.
All items are carefully wrapped in secure and flexible packaging to ensure they arrive undamaged.

If you’ve placed a pre-order, a custom piece, or purchased a product marked as “made to order,” please note that processing time may vary.

RETURNS POLICY

We only accept returns or exchanges of non-custom products within 7 calendar days of receiving your order.

To be eligible:

Items must be in perfect condition, unworn, and with no signs of use.
You must contact us before returning the item to confirm the process.
The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs.

Once we receive and inspect the item and confirm it is in resaleable condition, you may choose:

A refund of the item’s price (original shipping not included), or
An exchange for another item, paying the difference if applicable.

We appreciate your understanding — each hat is a work of art, and we value the care that goes into every step of the process.
